  1 Assignment 1 Subject practicum Instructor Mrs Manal Zebian Subject science Grade five DONE BY: Riham Shehayeb Define the following (Objective is missing) Student will be able to define each word and state the right word to its definition. To be more interested we can add definitions and ask the student to list the item related to the definition. It  ’s knowledge exercise to refresh his ideas, it is studying by heart and labeling (Grade and duration are not mentioned) since student only have to memorize and recall his information. 2. State the role or function of each of the following. (Objective is missing) It’s also knowledge  exercise students will be able to state the role of each part. I would change the exercise, to comprehension  by composing a paragraph as a small story about the body then ask student to summarizes or tell the  2 importance of each part of the body. It will be an analysis exercise (Grade and duration are not mentioned) 3 .Read the statements .change the underlined part and correct each statement. (Objective is missing) we can add on it to help students understand more so student can justify his answer or give judgment to the exercise . It will be an Evaluating  exercise. Student will be able to make judgments about the value of ideas or materials can also interpret and justifies his answer. Can tell why wrote this answer. (Grade and duration are not mentioned) 4. Complete the following by writing the missing term. (Objective is missing) Its knowledge   remembering : Recall previous learned information. It’s a great combination between math and science.  Objective is missing)  Applying: Use a concept in a new situation or unprompted use of an abstraction. Applies what was  3 learned n the classroom into novel situations in the work place. It’s an application Student will be able to calculate the number of breath . 5. Plenty of exercises where found under the term of analyze.  The key word was found (analyze) but the (Objective is missing).  Analyzing : Separates material or concepts into component parts so that its organizational structure may be understood. Distinguish between facts and inferences. Student will be able to: compares, contrasts, diagrams through graphs and analyze the questions. The design of the exam: Name – school-subject matter-grade level-the timing of the exam – the grade level all were FOUND  which was not is the date. Objectives were missing for each exercise +the duration of time to solve each exercise. The exam was from simple to complex but less variety of bloom’s taxonomy exercises .it was rich of analysis exercise. The words were written in large font with spaces, neat, clear, illustration (graph was clear)  4 The distribution of the grade student can take the average it’s not difficult but contain many similar exercises. There should be a hard, tricky question for the achievement; it can be an evaluation at the end or maybe analysis. I think student might get little bored or not interested while solving the exam coz most exercises is similar and identical. The exam is poor of some encouragement words ex: (good luck) (good work)(   ) etc
